I only wake up about 3-6 times a night and listen to the sound of Shawn turning over in his bed, or the guinea pigs squeaking and running around in their cages (they must be scared of the boogie man cuz all at once they just jump and holler and skitter around) ... or Julia walking and talking in her sleep... or Joey asking for another juice pwease... but if its close to dawn I may as well just get up... so that was my morning on this fine sunny day. By the time 6:30- rolled around I had already checked all my friends' blogs and double and triple checked facebook... commenting on pictures etc.
Right now I am listening to the two littlest brothers playing Bingo and memory - and not fighting just yet... wonder how long it will last.
I am starting to feel the pressure to get a whole bunch more stuff done before our safety inspection and big hooray with 4 caseworkers on the 10th of March... just a little over a week away and in my hopes and dreams I wanted the rooms more "decorated" and complete... so I better get off my tiny tooche *however you spell that* and do some more sewing. Does this blog come with a "to do" list?.
On my imaginary list then... is
- Signs of Shawn's room - construction theme
- blanket for Shawn's room
- Bunk bed for Shawn's room - which means carrying in some paneling to cover the wires in his ceiling so he doesn't play Tarzan on them... and oh ya--- enclosing the drywall around the window opening so he doesn't peel it all off the whole wall ...and I can't do that so I need to 3b... motivate the Boss Man
- Curtain rod in guest room
- Curtains for guest room and/or master bedroom
- hang some more pictures all over
- re-arrange the furniture in the rec room
- paint the floor in the rec room and in Rachel's room and in Becca's room
- assemble some sort of *pretend* safety rail for the stairs into the house from the garage (cuz I will be removing the temp ones which are actually Shawn's bed parts
- generally spiffing up the joint
All this so they can't deny me more kidlets. We are anxious to have one of two short people come to join our family - long term or short term... preferably girlies - but we're not too fussy. We have two openings and are just waiting and waiting for the excitement to begin. Everyone here has the routines down pretty pat so we need to stir up some action. (Sub-titled "Betty is getting bored")
So I best get to work ... see how much I can do now that I made my list public. A little accountability always works as motivation for me.

Start this very hour
You supply the willingness
God supplies the POWER!"
Post Script - The boys started fighting over the games box before I got this posted.
